Clean parking lot for motorcycles.
I was shocked by the poor condition of the room! The bathroom was incredibly tiny. it felt like I was in a closet. To top it off, the bathroom door was virtually impossible to open or close without a struggle. It's clear this place is outdated—there's simply no excuse for the lack of a decent shower. the water pressure was atrocious and hardly warm.

Ready, Set, Regret (Or Not! )
Stepping into this lodge felt like immersing in the 1950s! My Queen Room was clean and comfy, complete with fresh linens and a quiet A/C unit. Its central location made accessing local gems a breeze. Just note, the bathroom had some maintenance quirks. Perfect for a brief getaway without undue stress!

Consider asking for a room with direct access to parking if you have a motorcycle. it made my trip much more convenient.

I loved the nostalgic vibe of my Queen Room! It felt like a time capsule from the 50s. Cleanliness was on point, but the mattress was pretty worn out. Overall, a solid spot for a night! 😊

Charming, Charming, Charming
I felt like I stepped back in time at this lovely lodge! The nostalgic vibe reminded me of a simpler era while my cozy Queen Room offered a fresh and clean retreat. Plus, I loved the unique touch-a comfy blue Lazyboy chair to sink into after a long day!
Would recommend! 😊❤️

I recently stayed for one night in john day, and this place exceeded my expectations! The queen room was clean with fresh linens, and everything worked perfectly. It brought me back to the fifties, with its nostalgia and no carpeting, just the quiet hum of the a/c unit.
shower water wasn't hot enough.

Took nice walks along the paved Jimmy Allen trail and enjoyed local eateries. Clean room, quiet A/C, and a friendly staff made it a great stay. Just a heads up, you may want to ask for a room with easier access to parking!
The bathroom definitely had some quirks that could use attention.

Check-in felt quick, and the staff greeted me with a warm smile. The Queen Room was clean, with fresh linens, which was a plus after a long drive. The decor reminded me of a vintage motel, with no carpeting—interesting choice that added to the nostalgic feel. The air conditioning worked quietly, keeping the atmosphere comfortable. The location made it easy to explore nearby dining options, and the ample parking suited my needs perfectly. However, I faced some challenges with the shower. the water flow was weak, and it took a while for the temperature to adjust, which was disappointing. The mattress was pretty worn out and sagged in the middle, making sleep a little less enjoyable than expected. Despite these hiccups, I appreciated the overall cleanliness and the nostalgic vibe of the lodge. The staff's helpfulness made a difference too. I'd consider coming back but would hope for better shower pressure and an updated mattress.
